Inspired by the soft colours of vintage cross-stitch, the Martha quilt is a perfect blend of old and new. The traditional subdued palette of warm pink, purple and blue is contrasted with the lovely pops of colour and a touch of dark green, creating a gentle quilt with surprising depth.
The Martha Quilt requires a range of skills and techniques to keep you interested, such as hand-piecing, machine sewing and appliqué.

Dit is onze nieuwe Blok van de Maand. Een ontwerp van Emma Di Stephano. Het wordt een project van 12 maanden. De stoffen die we gaan gebruiken worden zorgvuldig door ons uitgezocht, zodat ze dezelfde Vintage sfeer ademen als de quilt van Emma.
De eerste maand krijg je 16 fat 8th's en de patronen om een goed begin te kunnen maken. Wij raden je aan om ook stofjes uit je eigen voorraad te gebruiken om de quilt een "personal touch" te geven. De kosten voor deze eerste maand zijn €53 + verzendkosten.
De maanden 2 t/m 11 betaal je €29 + verzendkosten en krijg je een pakketje met acht fat 8th's en de patronen, met uitzondering van maand 11, je krijgt dan 3 fat quarters en 3x 35cm voor de Nora Star en de patonen.
In maand 12 gebruik je alle stoffen en krijg je de instructies om de quilt in elkaar te zetten.

The Martha Quilt requires a variety of skills and techniques to keep you engaged, such as hand piecing, machine sewing, and appliqué.
Finished quilt size: 78 x 78 inches (1.98 m x 1.98 m)
This is our new Block of the Month. A design by Emma Di Stephano. It will be a 12-month project. We'll carefully select the fabrics we'll use to ensure they exude the same vintage feel as Emma's quilt.
In the first month, you'll receive 16 fat 8th's + the patterns to get you started. We recommend using also fabrics from your own stash to give the quilt a personal touch. The first month costs are €53 plus shipping.
In months 2 through 11, you pay €29 plus shipping and receive a bundle containing eight fat 8th's + the patterns. The exception is month 11, where you'll receive 3 fat quarters and 3 x 35cm for the Nora Star + the patterns.
In month 12, you'll use all the fabrics and receive instructions for assembling the quilt.
